College Visits

Colleges regularly visit the Lakeland campus, providing opportunities for juniors and seniors to get a “taste” of college offerings both locally and throughout Florida. Please see Mrs. Richardson in guidance or contact your guidance counselor for a list of monthly offerings, or to check for a calendar date for your colleges of interest.

Rules Regarding College Visits:

·        Juniors and seniors with GPA’s of 3.0 and better are eligible to attend.
·        Each Lakeland student must receive a pass from Mrs. Richardson in the Lakeland guidance office.  Passes will be issued before/after school and during lunch.
·        Passes will not be distributed the day of the event.
·        Students must notify their classroom teachers of their intent to attend prior to the day of the event.
·        Attendance is at the discretion of the classroom teacher.
·        Students are responsible for making up any missed work pursuant to the Code of Conduct.
·        Mrs. Richardson is keeping a sign-up sheet for each event.
