What is it?
PIV – PIV is a browser application that allows you to view real-time
information
regarding
your child’s classes, grades or attendance whenever you want.
All you need is a student ID number and a password.
Email Notification – Email Notification is a means to
receive automated notification of your child’s grades or
attendance delivered directly to you via your email account. You
can receive reports on a scheduled basis or triggered by specific
events like an absence or a grade change.
You may set these services up yourself at the bottom of the page
when you have logged on with your PIN number.
How do you take advantage of these services?
Obtain an application from the either the Attendance Office , one
of the Guidance Departments or print it off the LHS
website. The
parent/guardian can return it to the school in person with a
picture ID or you can have the form notarized and return it by
mail, your student or in person to the school. For the PIV a password will be emailed or the parent
can stop by the Guidance Department in person to obtain the
password. For the Email,
you will
be able to set these up yourself via the internet once you have
been assigned a password. All forms will be verified against the
school records.
When accessing the PIV through the link at www.lakelandhighschool.com, you will need your child’s 10-digit student ID number and the
password provided to you from the school.
Why so much security? We do not mean to create any inconvenience for you. Whereas we
firmly believe that parents and students have an absolute right to
the student’s school information, we want to insure by every
means possible that the information remains secure and private.
The students may access their grades using the same password as
the parents but only the parents may request changes to the
service or a new password.
