The Media Center's books and A-V material are accessed via an electronic card catalog, SearchPlus. Ten search stations are available in the main room. The media lab houses 30 workstations which provide a variety of resources.

-Mathematics A site for all grade levels and courses.

-Online writing tutorial service This lab provides on-line materials on such topics as grammar, resumes, formats for citing sources (MLA, APA), and non-sexist language.

-Physics explained! Explanations of how things work in the physical world, from pulleys to microwaves.

-A& E Biographies Brief, up-to-date biographical information on famous people, living and dead.

-Almanac Information on everything from A to Z!

-Animal Information Database Includes scientific classification, facts, and biological information on numerous animals.

-Periodic Table A colorful table of the elements, with a hyperlink for more information.

-Healthtouch Online This site has informative articles about prescription and over-the-counter medications, and up-to-date information about health matters.

-This Day in History See the events that occurred on each day of the year via a searchable database.

-Convert It! Allows converting values of length, area, volume, mass, etc. to find equivalents. Very easy and quick.

Students are welcome to visit the Media Center during class time with a pass signed by a teacher. Passes aren't required during lunch and before and after school. Students are expected to observe school rules while in the Media Center, and to speak softly so as not to disturb others.
